Photoshop Lomography Photo Action

Photoshop Lomography Photo Action at Emanuele FeronatoFound a sample of this technique on Flickr this morning so googled it and found this guys "easy way" to Photoshop your images. Apparently there are precoded "actions" that you can download that people have already made to do all sorts of things. I found one that allows you to convert any photo to an "infrared" photo! Here are some samples.

Pinhole Narrative assignment

Posted by Picasa

this is a collage of 35mm exposures that i shot on an experimental "matchbox pinhole camera" using 400 ASA black and white film. i was very surprised that i got any images at all out of this roll of film as i followed NONE of the rules for exposure timing. most of these exposures were shot inside a Costco Warehouse store in Danville, California and were given between 30 seconds and 2 minute exposures. the two shots of myself were taken in bright light sitting inside my car; thus were only given 5-15 second exposures. overall i was delighted that i got any images at all. whether i will attempt to do this again? i doubt it very much. i don't have the mind for all the mathematical calculations required to determine suitable exposure times or pinhole sizes.

WooHoo!

i just got a phone call from Action Photo. they developed my roll of MatchBox Pinhole film and said that there ARE images. they are going to make a set of prints for me that i can pick up on Thursday. i'll scan them at home and have my assignment done in time for critique on Monday.
